DAMIAN: Welcome to the morning degustation, Elowen.
ELOWEN: Why are you wearing a tuxedo?
DAMIAN: One must dress for the occasion.
ELOWEN: It's Tuesday at 7 AM.
DAMIAN: Every morning is an occasion for art.
ELOWEN: Is that a white tablecloth on the counter?
DAMIAN: It's Egyptian cotton, hand-pressed.
ELOWEN: We don't even own Egyptian cotton.
DAMIAN: I borrowed it from the guest room curtains.
ELOWEN: You ripped the curtains for cereal?
DAMIAN: Not just cereal. A cereal experience.
ELOWEN: Just give me the bowl, Damian.
DAMIAN: Patience! The plating is a process.
ELOWEN: It's colorful circles in a bowl.
DAMIAN: I call it "Chromatic Spheres in Lactose Sea".
ELOWEN: You put Fruit Loops in a fancy bowl.
DAMIAN: I curated the colors for visual harmony.
ELOWEN: You just poured them from the box.
DAMIAN: I used tweezers for the final arrangement.
ELOWEN: Tweezers? For breakfast?
DAMIAN: Precision is the soul of gastronomy.
ELOWEN: I'm actually starving, Damian.
DAMIAN: Hunger is a distraction from the aesthetic.
ELOWEN: My stomach is making an aesthetic noise.
DAMIAN: That's just your body applauding my vision.
ELOWEN: Can I have the milk now?
DAMIAN: Not just any milk. A chilled emulsion.
ELOWEN: It's 2% milk from the store.
DAMIAN: I aerated it for three minutes.
ELOWEN: Why would you aerate cereal milk?
DAMIAN: To create a cloud-like texture.
ELOWEN: It looks like soap bubbles.
DAMIAN: It's "dairy foam", Elowen. Get with it.
ELOWEN: I just want to eat my loops.
DAMIAN: Please, savor the aroma first.
ELOWEN: It smells like artificial cherry and cardboard.
DAMIAN: That is the scent of childhood nostalgia.
ELOWEN: My childhood didn't have a dress code.
DAMIAN: Yours was lacking in sophistication.
ELOWEN: I liked my cereal without a lecture.
DAMIAN: Art requires a narrative.
ELOWEN: The narrative is "I am hungry".
DAMIAN: Such a pedestrian plot line.
ELOWEN: Give me the spoon.
DAMIAN: This silver-plated utensil is for tasting only.
ELOWEN: I don't want to taste it, I want to eat it.
DAMIAN: You're rushing the experience!
ELOWEN: The experience is making me grumpy.
DAMIAN: Grumpiness adds a piquant note to the meal.
ELOWEN: I'm going to eat the box if you don't hurry.
DAMIAN: Please, do not desecrate the packaging.
ELOWEN: Why are there edible flowers on my loops?
DAMIAN: To evoke the feeling of a spring meadow.
ELOWEN: I feel like a confused bee.
DAMIAN: A bee in the garden of flavor!
ELOWEN: These flowers taste like soap.
DAMIAN: That's the botanical essence.
ELOWEN: I hate botanical essence for breakfast.
DAMIAN: You have no appreciation for the avant-garde.
ELOWEN: I appreciate things that taste good.
DAMIAN: Taste is subjective; presentation is absolute.
ELOWEN: My hunger is also absolute.
DAMIAN: Now, for the final touch.
ELOWEN: If you bring out a pipette, I'm leaving.
DAMIAN: It's not a pipette. It's a drizzle of honey.
ELOWEN: Honey on Fruit Loops?
DAMIAN: To bridge the gap between nature and industry.
ELOWEN: You just made my cereal sticky.
DAMIAN: Sticky is a textural choice!
ELOWEN: My spoon is stuck to the table.
DAMIAN: A commentary on our attachment to materialism.
ELOWEN: I'm literally just trying to eat.
DAMIAN: You are eating! You're just doing it wrong.
ELOWEN: There is no "wrong" way to eat cereal.
DAMIAN: My culinary school pamphlet says otherwise.
ELOWEN: You took one online course, Damian.
DAMIAN: It was a certified masterclass in plating!
ELOWEN: Plating isn't cooking.
DAMIAN: It's the visual dialogue of the dish.
ELOWEN: The dialogue is "get out of my way".
DAMIAN: You are so cruel to my creativity.
ELOWEN: Your creativity is making me late for work.
DAMIAN: Work is a bourgeois construct.
ELOWEN: My paycheck is a very real construct.
DAMIAN: Just one more bite of the emulsion.
ELOWEN: I'm done. Give me the bowl.
DAMIAN: Wait! I haven't presented the napkin fold.
ELOWEN: I'll use my sleeve, thanks.
DAMIAN: Barbaric! Truly barbaric!
ELOWEN: Pass the milk and shut up.
DAMIAN: Fine. But tomorrow we do poached eggs.
ELOWEN: Please don't.
DAMIAN: Deconstructed eggs!
ELOWEN: I'm moving out.
DAMIAN: You can't leave until you see my sauce reduction.
ELOWEN: No more sauce, Damian!
DAMIAN: It's just a bit of maple syrup!
ELOWEN: Go put on some normal clothes.
DAMIAN: Tuxedos are the new pajamas.
ELOWEN: Only in your head, Damian.
DAMIAN: In my head, everything is gourmet.
ELOWEN: That explains so much.
DAMIAN: Now, enjoy your Chromatic Spheres!
ELOWEN: They're just loops, you weirdo.
DAMIAN: Art! It's art!
ELOWEN: It's soggy.
DAMIAN: The sogginess is intentional!
ELOWEN: Whatever. Pass the napkins.
DAMIAN: I can't, they are part of the installation.
ELOWEN: I hate you so much.
DAMIAN: Love you too, honey!
